Enjoy free admission to the Museum and Art Gallery to see South Downs Open, exhibiting nearly 150 artworks by over 120 artist who are inspired by the South Downs region. Celebrate the beauty of the South Downs with paintings, drawings, prints, photography, sculpture, textiles and ceramics that draw inspiration from across the South Downs region, from Old Winchester Hill in Hampshire to Beachy Head, in East Sussex.

Museum Shop Sunday is an annual international campaign to highlight the vital role of retail in helping arts, cultural and heritage venues to survive and thrive. On Sunday 1 December 2024, over 2,000 visitor attractions worldwide will be coming together to celebrate with special events and promotions for visitors to enjoy.
